Pdr 1878 Double Capa Magnum Sun Grown Single Cigar
Crafted by Abe Flores at the PDR factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, the Double Capa Magnum Sun Grown highlights the art of multi-wrapper blending. By pairing a sun-ripened Ecuadorian Habano leaf with a contrasting wrapper in a seamless "Barber Pole" weave, this large-format Gordo balances spicy intensity with rich, creamy undertones. Utilizing traditional Cuban entubado bunching, it offers exceptional draw performance and pairs magnificently with a high-proof bourbon, a dark Belgian quadrupel, or a strong espresso.

Lighting the covered foot yields an immediate interplay between spicy sun-cured earthiness and soft wrapper sweetness. As the burn line moves past the foot, the dual-wrapper interaction reveals complex layers of roasted coffee beans, toasted oak, salted nuts, and leather, concluding with a velvety finish marked by red pepper spice and dark cocoa.
