Pdr Cigars
Pdr 1878 Double Capa Magnum Natural Single Cigar
Master blender Abe Flores showcases the art of cigar rolling with the PDR 1878 Double Capa line, weaving two distinct wrapper leaves—Ecuadorian Connecticut Natural and Ecuadorian Habano—into a visually striking "Barber Pole" pattern. Rolled at the PDR factory in Tamboril using traditional Cuban entubado bunching, this Magnum vitola balances the creamy smoothness of Connecticut with the rich flavor depth of Habano. It pairs magnificently with a cream-infused latte, a golden rum, or a smooth Speyside scotch.

Lighting up the covered foot delivers an intriguing mix of silky cream and zesty spice. As the burn progresses across the dual wrappers, the golden Connecticut and darker Habano leaves combine to produce harmonious notes of cedar, toasted almonds, creamy espresso, dry earth, and a subtle touch of white pepper on a smooth, sweet finish.
