Davidoff
Nicaragua Robusto Box Of 12 Cigars
The Davidoff Nicaragua Robusto represents a bold, highly acclaimed milestone within the company's innovative Black Band Collection. This series represents a departure from traditional white-label releases, specifically targeting the rich, fiery properties of volcanic soil. Rather than leaning into raw power, the master blenders focused on showcasing how five years of careful aging can soften intense Nicaraguan tobaccos into a bittersweet masterpiece of restraint and complexity.
The architectural blueprint is an authentic Nicaraguan Puro, wrapping a visually stunning, smooth Habano Rosado jacket over fully matured binder and filler leaves. By replacing the brand's signature grassy elements with darker, woodier undertones, the recipe delivers a multi-layered journey that appeals directly to seasoned enthusiasts. This medium-to-full-bodied smoke generates an impeccable burn and pairs phenomenally well alongside a creamy, heavily matured premium dark rum or a rich single malt scotch.

First Third: The smoke opens with an elegant smoothness, presenting an immediate wave of rich earth, fresh cedar wood, and a gentle sweetness resembling roasted coffee beans. The retrohale introduces a mild cinnamon spice that develops gently without any sharp bite.
Second Third: As the burn line hits the middle section, the profile takes a deeper, more indulgent turn. Rich characteristics of dark chocolate and vanilla cream blend seamlessly with warming baking spices, while the overall complexity builds gracefully.
Final Third: The conclusion delivers an excellent, warm transition as the natural spices slightly intensify. Heavy notes of dark cocoa, roasted nuts, and savory leather harmonize alongside an enduring touch of white pepper, leaving an exceptionally clean and long aftertaste.
